Simulation covers a range of live, virtual, and constructive techniques that replicate aspects of real clinical experiences allowing learners opportunity for practice and development of clinical skills in immersive and real world contexts with lowered or removed risk of harm to patients (Lateef, 2010). Simulation training is employed in a range of medical and allied health settings such as undergraduate and postgraduate courses, workplaces, professional development training, and job recruitment.
